The Memphis Area Lactation Consultant Association (MALCA) and the Shelby County Breastfeeding Coalition (SCBC) invite all of our Southeastern neighbors and colleagues to our Breastfeeding Update 2013 “Challenges that Compromise Breastfeeding Success” on August 7th. We are delighted to have 2 excellent and nationally recognized speakers. Dr. Diana Mayer, an expert in ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) and frenotomy, will give Pediatric Grand Rounds at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and also provide a workshop with clay tongues for providers (thanks to the support of UT Pediatrics).
