regulations, developing resources and support.

• Relate Department of Defense/Uniformed Services regulations and
requirements related to lactation
• Integrate lactation support services for military families in your
community

About the Speaker
Liz Flight is a lactation consultant in private practice in the
Virginia-Maryland area. She has developed lactation programs for several
Naval Hospitals, provided guidance for military policy makers and is
currently providing professional education for nursing students, military
residency programs and lactation interns. Liz is the co-chair for the
Virginia Breastfeeding Taskforce, CERP coordinator for TALCA (Tidewater Area
Lactation Consultant Association) and chartered the USLCA chapter for the
military- MiLCA (Military Lactation Consultant Association).

The program grants 1 L-CERP in lactation and 1 contact hour in nursing.
