2010 Michigan Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Conference

The 2010 Michigan Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies conference, “Growing Strong Families, Building Healthier Communities”, will be held at the Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Mount Pleasant on June 3rd and 4th. There will be a Pre-conference on Grant Writing the afternoon of June 2nd. HMHB members, with a current paid membership, will receive a discounted conference registration fee.

This intensive, fast-paced, evidence-based Cram Course is designed as a review course for practitioners preparing to take the IBLCE exam for initial or recertification.

'This one-day workshop provides an intensive approach to the basics of breastfeeding promotion and early feeding issues – in the hospital, clinic and community. It is a helpful and effective beginning for education in research-based infant feeding, as well as an excellent update for IBCLCs and others who are interested in applying science to the practice of infant feeding.
