The Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition invites you to join us for this energizing talk by Dr. James McKenna. Hear about his research at the Notre Dame Mother-Baby Behavioral Sleep Lab and the historical context of how culture and maternal-infant biology came into conflict. Learn how physiologically and behaviorally different breast sleeping is from bedsharing associated with formula or bottle feeding, and how breastsleeping can potentially lessen or help prevent colic while reducing the chances of SIDs.

Light lunch and refreshments provided.
